Scorpius is one of the zodiac constellations.

These constellations are located along the path that the Sun and the planets follow as seen from the Earth. The Sun path crosses Scorpius between the 23th October – 22th November (30 days).

Its name is Latin for "the scorpion" and it is the 33th largest of the 88 modern constellations in the sky.
