Sagittarius is one of the zodiac constellations.

These constellations are located along the path that the Sun and the planets follow as seen from the Earth. The Sun path crosses Sagittarius between the 23th November – 21st December (31 days).

Its name is Latin for "the archer" and it is the 15th largest of the 88 modern constellations in the sky.
